A set of experiments was performed for detailed exposition of pilot behavior regularities in pursuit and preview tracking tasks. An algorithm for identification of pilot frequency response characteristics describing his response to the perception of input and error signals is considered. The results of experimental investigations are used for the proposed model of pilot behavior in pursuit and preview tracking tasks. The selection of these pilot model parameters is considered as well.
